Tips for Success:
- Use your Agenda.Your Agenda is the most powerful organizational tool you have. Use it in every class to record your assignments in as much detail as possible. If you don’t have homework in a particular class, write NONE. You need to take it home with you EVERY NIGHT, and check off your work as you complete it. DO NOT rip out pages from your Agenda. A neat Agenda will help you be successful. - Don’t procrastinateChunk preparation time for tests and work time for projects into manageable pieces. Do a little each night instead of waiting until the last minute. - Be organized.Maintain clean folders, an organized backpack, and a tidy locker. Make sure you CLEAN THEM OUT FREQUENTLY! - Develop a routine.Have a set time and place for studying and completing homework. - Preparation.You are expected to bring your book, pencil, Agenda, and all necessary materials to class daily. - Make-up work.You are responsible for making up any work that you miss. It is your responsibility to find out what you missed and to complete and submit that work. You will have one day to make up work for each day that you’re absent. For example, if you are absent for 2 days, you will have 2 school days to complete make-up work. This is in accordance with the school policy. If you are home sick for 3 days or more, you can contact the office to have work sent home.
